Sea turtles. Volcanic mountains. Island sunsets. Pictures couldn't capture my awe in the moment. So I started painting.
I'm an island gal hailing from various bits of the Pacific. Currently based in ... Samoa (try to find me on the map!) My eyes popped when I first googled Samoa and saw the amazing ocean trench (To Sua Trench). I squealed when I swam with my first sea turtle. Pictures couldn't capture my awe in the moment. So I started painting.
Abstract mixed media paintings
Mixed media on wood boards and canvas. Each pieces is a journey of layers. You can literally touch the paint, and feel how the final painting came together.
Block prints
Obsessed with hand printing cards with island inspired icons. Here's a repeat pattern of the red ginger (teuila), the national flower of Samoa.
